GT-40 Heads

Default GT-40 Heads

I got cast iron gt-40 heads on the longblock I bought. Are they 2v or 4v?

i think the 2-v and 4-v has to do with the intake and not the heads, im not sure but if im wrong im sure somebody will correct me

It all depends, if you are talkin about a modular engine then it is the heads, if you are talkin about a pushrod then it is the carb.

i know what you are talking about, but if they have big valves, they can be classified as 4 barrel heads.

the gt40s are off a fulie 5.0 engine but they out flow 1969 3514v heads so i would classify them as 4v
