Default RearEnd rebuild

I need to replace bearings and want to know how much it should cost and if I should do any other mods while we're there.
Any help would be appreciated.

Default RE: RearEnd rebuild

Are you replacing axle bearings? Those should not be too bad. But if you are talking about rebuilding the rear end, I would like to know myself. Gears would be a good upgrade while your in there, and the only tricky part about that, I believe, is shimming correctly. Can anyone else elaborate?
