Default no top movement

got a good deal on '98 at an auction. will be ordering repair manuals, etc. Meanwhile, switch for top is not spinning motor to move top down. of course handle locks are loosed, in Park, engine running, I have checked every fuse inside and under hood, no probs there. I guess that's why I got a good deal, eh?

A few searches in this forum didn't bring anything. I'll keep troubleshooting. anybody know of something obvious I haven't named?

thanks,
Joe

Set the hand brake. It's required on the manual transmission cars, it may be for the automatics as well.
