Chipmunk,
I install conv. tops for a living and I've got to tell you, there's nothing easy about installing one. That said, I am not trying to talk you out of doing it yourself, just allow plenty of time to get it done. I've heard of guys who needed to drive a 'Stang to work on Monday start doing a convertible top (or back window) installation on Sunday at 1p.m.
To turn out an OEM style installation, you need to allow for a couple of days.
