Window closes outside of the top

Window closes outside of the top
On the driver' side when my window is up all the way and I close the door, the window hits the top and prevents the door from closing correctly. Basically, the window stays against the top (not under it) when the door is closed. I either have to crack the window about 1/4" to close the door or go out the passenger side. Does anyone have any clue what could be causing this?
Here is what Ithought of:
1. The top is twisted a bit more toward the driver's side
2. The driver window goes up too far
Please let me know what you think or if you had this happen to you. With winter coming soon I expect to have the top up a bit more than I have in the summer. Thanks.

RE: Window closes outside of the top
Apparently this was fixed on mine as the windows drop down about 1/2 inch when opening the doors and go to full up position when the door is closed. I have a friend that has a 2003 Mustang that the passenger window is dragging on the top. Sounds to me like the top has shrunk or something which makes it pull down tighter over the doors when the top is up. This is my first convertible so I can only offer suggestions.
