It's the truth. Right when I got my convertible and had nothing on/in it my friend had the exact same car but a coupe with about 3 grand put into it. After one week he finally frowned as he realized it and said "this is ****ing bull****...why do girls like convertibles so much?" I just laughed. =P

 

99-04 gt's weight a 150lbs more than a 99-04 coupe. remember we have subframe connectors that coupes don't have. Also it takes 220lbs of weight reductiont to take .1 off a quarter mile time. This question is always popping up from time to time. And of course an auto tranny weighs more than a manual tranny. I not worried about it.

 

bottom line is... this

is well worth the added weight. p[_]ssy power trumps HP any day in my book

 

Yeah, we know why we spent the extra clams on the vert. Like you said there are things that trump HP!!!

 

spend extra nothing, they're only extra new. (especially the sexy beast they call the fox body, verts are freaken CHEAP)
