2010 v6 premium convertible... new to me and need advice!!
Well basically I'm 23 just bout my first car! Got a 2010 v6 premium convertible with 25k miles on it. So far I love it! I'm still trying to figure out all the awesome features if has!!! One big question I've been wondering is about the little overdrive button on the side of the shifter (my cars automatic). I'm wondring when I should have OD on and when it should be off? Also any otherY tips with this car would be fantasic! thanks in advance for everyone's help and insight! :-)

Congrats Heather on your first "New to You" New Car!!
Glad that you have made it a Mustang!! Hope you enjoy the car =)
Here is a link to the Owners Manual and quick reference guides. Boring reading, but your best source of relative info

To answer your question, O/D should be used for freeway-or extended, long distance-travel over 60MPH. It will put the engine into a lower RPM, thus burning less fuel. The 3.6 motor in the car is a pretty strong engine and with regular oil change and basic upkeep will last you a long time!
you bought the car with 25K miles which means it should have the remainder of the factory warranty on it (36,000mi bumper-to-bumper/50,000 power train), so you have some time to get used to it w/o much worry!
I say get out there and drive it! Learn how it feels and reacts. you will pick up on where all the "creature comforts" are with time and leafing thru the owners manual. Most importantly....ENJOY IT! IT'S A MUSTANG!!
The other thing you need to know is (and most importantly)...there is a HUGE aftermarket industry for these cars, so finding parts to "personalize" your Pony is super easy!
Welcome to the Mustang family and don't be shy to ask questions, we are all here to help =)
