My 03 Convertibile is leaking into passenger floor.
I am needing some help. I have an 03 convertible and everytime it rains hard I end up with my front passsenger floor board wet. We took it to the carwash and I put the high pressure water on it to try and find the source of the leak. Its not leaking at the top of the roof. But somehow water is making its way down the passenger side kick panel and dripping onto the front floor board. I have read that maybe a port hole under the cowl may be clogged up. Any idea where this is located? Or any other advice to offer?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Not sure if you got the leak fixed but if not you might want to try this. Remove the kick panel, put the car in the garage and turn the lights out, have someone shine a light up through the area behind the kick panel to see if you find light coming through places it shouldn't.

As quoted from MalibuJerry350 on 09-07-2008 (solved my same problem)
You, more than likely, have a clogged cowl drain. Very common problem. The clogged drain won't allow the water to drain and it backs up through the cabin filter and flows (literally!) into the passenger compartment. Remove the passenger side of the cowl cover (the little push pins holding it down need to be removed....do a search for Cabin Filter replacement) first. After the cover is removed, you will see the cabin filter mounted against the firewall. That is where the water enters the cabin. If there is any debris, leaves, pine needles, etc, in the cowl "tub" remove them first. Then, clean out the drain. It is located under the cowl on the passenger side....a little rubber boot, if you will. I used a small wooden dowel to clean mine out. Run some water from a garden hose to completely flush out any remaining debris. Because of the many trees on my property, I have to check my cowl drain at least once a month in the fall. Hope this helps.
