summer washing techniques

Hot weather coming up now how do you guys wash your cars?

as for me depening on the time i wash wayy early in the morning...even then aboot 9-10 its already getting hott lol i would put my car in the garage to dry it there but its cluttered...sigh'

Garage sale? I also wash in the AM or PM but alway pull into the garage to dry, wax and buff.

Same here, I prefer to do it in the evening and I dry it immediately afterwards in the garage, then use a spray detailer or wax it.

My driveway is shaded after 6:00 or so pm, so I wash then. Or, I get up early and hit it before the sun comes over the houses across the street. I refuse to wash in the sun.

Not good for the paint. Water and soap dries up quickly leaving mineral deposits, water spots and soap behind. Waxing in the sun is another no no because wax does not set up correctly. At least that's what I've been told at at Meguiars seminar.

amazingly fast and easy to use



as for waxing/buffing, i pay a shop to do it, and it looks like its brand new everytime,
i wouldnt risk messing up on the buff job, but thats just me
