Default Armor All

I have read on here before that Armor All sucks, possibly even attracts crap. What do you recommend for interior dash/door panels to protect them?

Thanks in Advance

I sell a product called Natural Look by Poorboys. It is a mild cleaner and also has UV protectant. It does not look greasy like a lot of brands,it dries to a factory matte finish. It also smells really good. Check it out on my website. www.obsessivedetail.com

Meguiar's Natural Shine works well. The interior wipes are good too. I use Armor All on my truck and I haven't had any problem with it.

I use Meguiar's too. I stopped using Armor All many years ago.

I like armor all, it can be used on just about every vinyl, rubber, plastic piece on the car, its not just meant for the interior, and its cheap.

Ah the good ole Armor All debate Seems like this thing gets rehashed about once a month! I'm not sure why armor all has gotten a bad rap. I've used the stuff since I was old enough to help my dad clean his cars. Sure it leaves a little greasy residue - just don't apply so much of it, or buff some off with a clean cloth. If you're like me and detail the interior all the time then this isn't an issue.

As for the other rumors (not mentioned here) about being bad for your interior - causing cracks & drying out: I've used the stuff for over 20 years and have NEVER had any indication of this. I have cleaned/protected every car I've owned, including my current Navigator, Saleen and now the '85 GT and have ZERO concerns about using the stuff.

And as mentioned above - it does wonders on several parts of your car. It helps to preserve your weather stripping, and does wonders on flat black trim pieces

I would agree that it does leave a residue but I really dont mind it. I just got a bottle of Meguiars Interior Detailer and that stuff is amazing. I love it. It is a lot of personal preference. I just went w/ Meguiars as that is what I use on my car as far as wax is concerned. It would be nice if the stang were running so I could enjoy it but oh well....

I use Poor Boys Natural Look, it works great, it cleans as you apply so there is no need to use a separate cleaner. I also work well on leather but I prefer Ragg Topp leather cleaner and protectant.
