Getting that rust/grime off tires where caliper is.
Hey folks. I know rust and dirt gets on the brake part of the wheel where the caliper fits. I was wondering what I should use to get this crap off and make it look clean. My wheels are going to be new and Im painting the calipers so I dont want that part looking ugly.
I've used regular wheel cleaner and it wont get it off.
Is there a way I can do this without harming it?
Heres where it is....not my car so you dont see the actual dirt or crap.

if you are talking about on the face of the rotor, where the pads rub to stop your car, then it will come off as soon as you hit the brakes. it will get a thin layer of rust on it anytime it gets wet, and as soon as you stop the car for the first time, it rubs the rist right off.
Yah i had a time getting that rust off then i just realize all you gotta do is drive to the end of the road and its gone ... so dont feel dumb it bothered me as well those little things drive me crazy i guess im a perfectionist when it comes to the car being clean.... the other night i wasted about ten minutes of my life trying to buff off a shadow lol thought it was a dirt spot that wouldnt come off
