RE: sweet grille
on now that friggin looks mean don't it!!! I can't see for sure but did he just paint the top OEM grill silver and install gutterguard in the lower one? I used gutterguard in my Contour SE and painted the trim body color etc but on a stang you could get accused of being euro-rice if you aren't careful!

It is the stock grilles painted. I am sure it looks like crap when close to it. If I am to add some grilles to the car, I would keep the upper one and add some lower billet grille and to the hood scoop.
By the way, does anyone know if I do change the hood scoop plastic grille, would some air get into the engine this way.

nope I just got done cutting out the slot in my hood and drilling the holes iut oh the honeycomb in the scoop. the hood is just like the v6 hoods and where the honecomb is on the v6 there is a piece I cut mine out with a dremel it's made of fiberglass not metal which surprized me

you have to take the scoop off which is easy take the plastic clips out of the hood liner thrn there are 8 I believe bolts to unscrew then the scoop comes right off use the dremel cut out the slot ( I took some cardboard and taped up the top were the whole is and cut from the underneath so I kept as much off my paint as possible) and drill some holes in the plastic front plate or get the billet you r speaking of and you have funtional hood scoop but it is more to cool engine off b'c my intake is in my fender. it just made me mad having a scoop with no purpose except appearance.
