hey yall. i have a 97 cobra thats in need of new paint. had a little body work done so i need paint ne ways. the car right now is white. i was think maybe yellow. not that pale yellow, maybe like a golden yellow. i also thought maybe black. i cant decide and any comments would be greatly appreciated.

 

Are you going to take everything off and out of the car and paint it? like the door jams, engine bay, etc etc? Thats one thing that i would really look into. I just dont like the idea of opening a hood on a yellow car and seeing the shock towers and firewall being another color. Just my $.02 . If i had a white 97 Cobra, i think i'd repaint it white and put some blue racing stripes, lower it, and put some good looking 18's on it. White can look really good if you keep it clean. Try black with yellow stipes. That would be cool.

 

Red and white? Blue and white? Black and silver? Orange and black? Yellow and black?

 

I would leave it white, then from the body line up paint it black, then get some DD black fr500's or bullits and lower it. There is one painted that way by me, looks freakin sweet!
