I need to have mine replaced...Anyone ever have to replace theirs?

Question is, should I have it replaced professionally? Or should I replace it myself. If I were to replace it myself, how difficult are they to get off and back on? Where can I find a good quality top? ('94) How much am I going to be spending?

So many questions...

n3rdgirl,

Convertible tops for the 94 is about 190.00 bucks. - They now make them pretty good with nice texture and nice protection against mildew and all that nasty stuff. now remember thats the top only, are you going to need a motor or any other stuff for it...

-- It's not difficult to change, but I don't know how handy you are with stuff like that, you will however need an extra pair of hands and some time..... I have an article on it that's pretty detailed but I only have it in PDF format and the size is about 2.5 megs. You can read it over or if you can't receive that much data I'll find something else for you to read and see if it's something you wish to do yourself or have a pro do it.

Ohhh, that would be so awesome! Can you send it to this email? admin@ilovebsod.com

My motor is working just fine. Its the top itself that's coming apart where its attached to the rear windshield, and now there's a gaping hole. Much thanks for the info.

Hrrmm...that brings up another question, does the top come with the rear windshield? Will I need any other parts besides the top (motor is fine)?

Ok......I'll email you some instructions, read them and then determine what you will need and what to do.....by the way, the top does NOT come with the glass.
