Hi, I need to replace my side emblem on my 02and I was just wondering how do I go about taking the old one off? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

use a heat gun(hair dryer)
and some dental floss.
be carefull though! the emblems have holes behind them in most cases and will look like assk until you put a new emblem on

 

Should I clean the area off with anything before I stick the new one on? BTW, thanks for your reply I'll try it out once it warms up out there.

 

Trya search the forums. I know someone wrotestep by step instructions for this.

Carb cleaner works great to get the sticky stuff off, then make sureto clean that off with soap & waterbefore applying the new emblems.
