i was looking into this about a year ago but i realized i am a dumbass and would probably ignite someone on fire if they got behind me either that or screw someones car up pretty bad. if there was an on/off switch then maybe but i's still get into trouble with it. i saw some on ebay but i prefer going with the small flames not those big *** ones. Also be careful that your bumper doesn't start to burn and turn color.

I looked into this for awhile myself. They do have kits with an on/off switch, but from what I have seen they do more damage than they are worth. Who wants to spend all that time and money just to damge their car only to "look cool" a few times. IMO not worth it!

I looked into this for my motorcycle, they shut the coils down so the gas runs into the exhaust unburned and is then ignited by plugs in the exhaust. Like stated above, not good.

I guess you could have it without running your car rich by unplugging a plug on each bank & plugging the same wire into the spark plug in the exhaust. I'm sure there's some way to wire that so you could just flip a switch.

The kit I have seen was really kewl. From what he told me he didnt run rich or anything, but you cant have cats. From what I have seen/heard since the cats arent there to burn off the unburnt fuel they can throw relativley decent flames. No 20ft fast and furious gayness, but visible. The only thing is that the guy I knew who had a 79 TA with a 4 barrel carb. I dont know if there would be any real difference between carb and fuel injection, tho.

they won't work on EFI. i personally bought a flamethrower kit and it didn't work. even running a tad rich without the cats didn't work. all i got was backfire. save your money people. i'm not saying they won't work at all. it's just that it'll take a lot more than what the company sells you to get the kit to work. with that said. who wants to buy a flamethrower kit.
