I sprayed Mean Green on the engine and then pressure washed it. Never covered anything up. Just remember to cover the front fenders with soap so you wont have any streaks in the paint. Just dont get too close with the pressure washer like "Abom" said.

Degreaser works. Use thick shop towels to absorb if you do it by hand. Make sure you do it in a ventialted area. Just a tip; if you want to shine your engine, use Maguires leather wipes on ONLY the casings of the engine. Works wonders. Pressure washer works, it is very powerful and will ruin the engine and your paint! Good Luck!

Go to Smart and Final and buy theyre Cleaner/Degreaser. I dilute half-half water. Use spray bottle, spray on cool engine, make sure fenders are wet. Rinse with garden hose or hi-pres washer. You will be very pleased
