gt badges
i want to remove my badges...i dont want 6ers or cobra or anything like that....i just want them gone...its a 99 gt, ive read there are holes ? is that so? and if its true, what would be the best way to make the paint match after removing badges, and the best way to fill those holes
Yeah, there are big holes -- like .5" holes. Smaller ones right above them, too. There are also holes underneath the Ford emblem on the decklid. The best way to fill them (fender holes) up is to weld them up, or weld in a piece of metal behind them and fill the rest. They aren't just simple holes, though, they have a dish-shape to them. But, yes- weld them up, and then, unless your car is black, you'll have to blend the paint into your doors because it is so close. It's really not worth it. You can always paint them body color, or better yet- put some of those gay Euro marker lights in!!
When I got my hood put on, I had the car repainted and I went with the badgeless look.
