what kinda sand paper shud i use and paint? Im buying a used 93 rear sway bar i wanna paint it red

 

What kind of shape is it in, what kind of job do you want done and what will you be painting it with?

 

its in pretty good shape...no abuse or cracks jus a lil dirrty i guess i wanna paint it with a spray can or somthing shiny red

 

Wash it really good with an aggressive degreaser or tire cleaner (not the leave-it-shiny kind) and then just use 400 grit or so. Spray paint will be fine. If you've ever heard of scotch brite pads, get a red one and scuff the crap out of the sway bar with it when you're degreasing it.
