It leaves a gloss like you just waxed it but don't really leave protection. You need to apply a wax over it. Check out the Optimum Spray Wax for something that is very easy to use and adds good protection. You just mist it on and wipe right off with a microfiber. You can do a whole car in about 5 minutes.

Both of these items are still on sale, the sale ends tomorrow so don't miss out!

My bottle arrived in the mail yesterday, plan on using it this weekend, I'll post a report on the results.

I have plenty of access to a house and to this date have never used one...knock on wood. I used the products Juztangs sells and they work like a charm...

Just wondering how you guys who live in apartments without access to an outside hose wash your cars?
There's also a product that I sell called DRI WASH 'n GUARD. I've been using it for over 10 years, and my '65 has never seen a drop of water (either from rain, or a car wash). Spray it on, wipe it in, buff to a shine. It's quite popular with apartment dwellers for the exact reason you mention.

The thing that freaks most people out is about applying it to a dirty car. Look, if you're that concerned about the amount of dirt on your car, then run it through a touchless first!

However, before you use DriWash, you need to be sure the car is completely dry, like an overnight dry. Any water will cause the product to coagulate, be be very difficult to work with.

I never hesitate to use it on my daily driver after a rainstorm has dirtied the car. However, if it's been raining for days, and the car is completely filthy, I'll run it through a touchless, then DriWash it the next day.

On my Classic (which never see's any rain - it's the one at the top right hand corner of my site), I use it exclusively. The car has been through a ground up restoration just over two years ago, and has never been washed with water.[/align]
