Thanks everybody. I'm putting the clear coat and polish on tonight, and I'll get some pictures up tomorrow.

I'd like to see how they look polished up.

They look pretty nasty looking with the nightshade unpolished.

The nightshades shouldn't need polishing if it was applied correctly.

Looks like you might have held too far away and fogged them.
You need to apply just like you are painting a car, smooth even strokes all the way across the work space. Either that or you didn't apply enough, maybe afraid of going too dark?

If you can get them to shine it will look great!!!!!!

I used the stuff on my old Z28's directionals and marker lights, but I went dark...(see picture) the finish shined like it was gloss paint, and you could still see the lights through it

Well, they're shined up a little better. It's still not crystal clear, though.

The first time I tried this, I must have sprayed too close, because the niteshades started to run. I had to rub it all off with rubbing alcohol. Next, I spyrayed a bit farther back in much lighter coats (as I was told to by my friends), so that I could just apply a few lighter coats so it didn't get too dark.

It turned out okay, but as you can see, it's kind of matte in appearance. I used plastic polish and a little metal polish, but after that I'm at a loss. I suppose I'll go try polishing it some more for now, but any other suggestions?

Try Novus. Use all three levels then apply a glossy clear coat on top?

Well, I put the stockers back in for now. I'll give the tinted ones another go when I have time this weekend.
