Tarminator is sold all over. Should be easy to find locally....I see you already found that out. LOL

well im back to the meguiars. that tarminater did nothing. what ever is causing the dull hazing is coming off with the meguiars and showing the shine again. its seems to be a film, but only on the top, hood and trunk, not the sides of the car.

It sounds like wax built up is not your problem but possibly oxidized paint.

im using meguairs fine cut cleaner. cleans and polish in one. i don't think its oxidized. where i live we are all on well water. besides it didn't take muscle to remove what ever it was and now you can see yourself in it again. ill see next time i wash it. im using turtle wax car wash. i bought a gallon of it and mix a couple cap fulls with 4 gallons water.

Trust me, it's not built up wax. It's just a film on your car or faded paint or something that you are getting off with the polish. The reason it looks so much better is because you are polishing the paint and that is what polish does. My tip to you is ditch the TW junk and use a better quality car wash solution.

Any GOOD quality car wash will do the trick. My persoanl favorites are P21S, or Four Star Ultimate.

Is you water hard or on asoftener? Mine does the same if it dries before I chamy it. It is a combo of water hardness salt and sun.

For you guys having trouble with your water I recommend doing this. After washing your car, spray it down with Danase Turbo Shine BEFORE drying. This will take care of a lot of the problems you are having.

Moisture in the air is enough to oxidize your paint over time hotrod, if your car is exposed to major moisture changes in a garage night after night I can easily believe your paint oxidized. Well water doesn't matter as I would assume you dry your car after washing it.

Danase recommended you spray a detailer on your car while you are drying it -- this is an excellent idea. I found doing this makes the drying process less streaky and easier to remove any drying streaks with a microfiber cloth after I'm done.
