Default New Paint Protection...

So I just got my hood and front bumpe rrepainted and I was wondering if there is anything I can out on it to protect it, and still let the paint cure. Winter is coming up and I want to protect the new paint... any advice is greatly appriciated.

You don't want to put any kind of wax or sealant on there for about 90 days because it can clog the pores and the paint won't cure correctly.

I agree with juztang. You definitely do not want to rub anything on your paint. I would go one further and suggest after the paint has cured not to use wax instead use a liquid synthetic to keep your finish to avoid unnecessary friction on the surface.

The best way to protect the front of your car is to keep a good distance back from other cars and trucks.

you can try a nice hand glaze...it will add moisture to the paint
