I also use the No Rinse on vehicles that are pretty dirty plus have salt, I've actually done quite a few this week. I know of a few people that mix No Rinse ingallon sprayer and pretreat first and then proceed with the regular No Rinse. This product can actually take place of conventional wash soap.

Excellent.

I also just received an email reply from the CEO of Optimum No Rinse and his reply was to use 2 gallons of water with one ounce of No Rinse to clean a car full of salt.

I'll be buying this product and trying it out on my truck, first. If that goes well then I'll try it on the Mustang. (not that I'm driving it this winter - hope the trucks holds up until spring)

Thank you for the unput. Sounds like it's a good product.

Lol.

I read this 10 minutes too late. I just ordered it and then I read this post. If this stuff works great I'll order it again from you. I'm sure I'll need more. Thank you for the heads up with this product and where to get more. I look forward to trying it out. We have big snow on the way!!

I tested the No Rinse on my black truck that was just repainted in the fall. The truck was caked in salt so I thought that was a good time test this stuff out. And, I have to say, it came out pretty good. How this stuff doesn't let the salt scratch the paint is beyond me. The truck came out very good and I don't see any marks in the paint. My microfibre sponge took a pretty good beating, though. I threw it in the washer and all the dirt didn't come out so I'm a little hesitant to use it again. I may try something different for next time.

The temps were in the mid 30s when I used the No Rinse. There was a little streaking but that was due to wet drying towels and probably colder temps. And the little bit of streaking is much, much better than the salt. I also went through 2 buckets to wash the truck instead of one.

Every time I poured the No Rinse into the cap to pour into to the bucket I got an electrical static shock. I thought that was kind of interesting.
