Default Egg

The owner before I got my 04 Mustang seemed to leave egg or something cake on the bumper and now theres a kind of yellowish stain. Any way to get it out without repainting?

+1 to mello, egg is terrible for paint, most kids think they're doing a harmless prank, but they have no idea. you can try polishing with a polisher and/or wetsanding before taking it to get repainted, but it's probably not going to work. do you have any pictures?

The shells have the potential to do much more damage than the actual inside of the egg itself. Years ago when I was still living at home all the cars on my block got egged. I was lucky enough to get the egg off while it was still wet. But I made the mistake of using a hose to wash off the egg. The shell bits cut through the clearcoat and paint right down to the primer like a hot knife through butter. I just let the water run out of the hose onto the hood, no real pressure.
