Default Best Swirl Cutter

The only swirl cutting product I have any experience with is tropicare swirl cutter used on my porter cable with an orange pad. Honestly it seemed to be doing very little to remove the fine swirls.....it took me forever!!! What do you guys use?

I mainly use Optimum polishes to do paint correction. The Compound works great for medium to a little heavier swirls and the Polish is does a great job as the final polish and to correct light swirls. What I like about Optimum polishes is that they don't dust at all and they can be worked in longer than most polishes. You can also use them in the sun if you wanted to.

The Polish runs $16.95 and the Compound is $17.50. Those are both 32 oz. sizes, so you get a lot for your money. Those prices don't reflect your 10% member discount either.

thankyou, I will be placing and order soon. Also what sort of sealant do you offer. On the mustang I use zaino because of its durability and ease of use (doesnt stain trim, can put on in sun, etc) and on the gto I use 3m imperial hand glaze and meguiars # 26 as a topper. For the mustang I'm looking for something that lasts a long time and provides good protection.

A sealant that has pretty good protection is Optimum Opti Seal. With OS you just wipe it on and walk away, it just dissappears. You can use this on glass, paint, trim, and wheels. It has a deeper look than most sealants. A combo you might want to try is OD Wet Glaze topped with Opti Seal.My Wet Glaze is an acrylic so sealants will bond to it, my glaze can also be put over a wax or sealant and has a little durability of its own.

All of my products can be put on in the sun also, they don't have any residue either.
