Guys,

I have a 06 gt with frpp stingers.The lower part of both pipes is black from carbon (I think its carbon)? I have rubbed wax and other cleaners on it and it takes forever to clean. After about a month it looks like I never cleaned them. I wash the car at least once a week so its not likethey dont get cleaned.

Do you guys have any suggestion on how toremove the black build upor what product to use?

 

should be able to go to the store and pick up a jar of aluminum polish and it should take care of it. assuming they are polished aluminum

 

are they chrome? if so you can use some turtle wax chrome polish. it's like 1.88 from walmart and will last a while


never dull usually works for me on carbon build up on exhaust pipes. it's pretty universal, too - i use it on all metal types

Use a polish like NXT Metal Polish and it'll fix them up. The only thing to prevent it from coming back is to wash more often.
