Default Reskinning?

I was reading over on the corral forums that re-skinning a 95 to look like a 99+ Stang is entirely possible, since the platforms of the cars are pretty much identical.

What are your $.02 on this subject? How much money would it cost? Little over $1k minus paint? Is it a month long job, or can it be done in a week? I'm hopefully picking up a 94 GT in the near future, and the body style is less than appealing to me. (no offense if you drive one!).

it would prob cost you a whole lot more than $1k for parts, even if you can get them cheap. id imagine that you would dump an easy $3-4 in it just for parts. not to meantion the labor is gonna be a pain. the rear fenders are welded and bolted on, so you would have to grind that out, and then reweld the new ones on. you would have to buy everything from a 99-04 body and work it to fit the 94-98 frame. i think that if you are looking to have a 5.0 car but in a 99-04 body, then you should just go out and buy a v6 and swap it out for a 5.0 that would be alot easier IMO than doing a whole body swap.
