Only solve for your problem is to replace the windsheild. There is no way that I know of to stop it. Also you can get pulled over and ticketed for it. The winsheild is also part of the body. It strengthens it and is designed to fail in a certain way along with the body in a collision. You need to replace it.

Yes, there is really no way to fix it. You just have to roll over and get a new one.

Yeah, like other's said, you are going to have to replace it. Depending on your state, full coverage insurance will cover 1 per year. This is the case here in FL.

This is what I do for a living. This guy is exactly right. Make sure you use a reputable company in your area. I see a couple of horrors a week where windsheild were replaced by lazy incompetant idiots. When the glass is replaced make sure they follow NAGs (national auto glass) standards and cut back the original urethane and primer both the glass and body. If you can find a shop that complys with AGRSS (auto glass replacement safety standard council) then you should be good because they only certify shops that follow very stringent standards and therefore weed out the idiots that don't care about your safety and do ****ty work.

All the best
