As for flat paint, NEVER use any abrasive products on it. If you need a cleaner, stick with something non abrasive like Klasse All In One. But for the most part, just use a pure sealant or wax with no cleaning ability. Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant is a good choice, as is something like Optimum Car Wax or Collinite 845.

Alright, thanks for the info. I wash the rags anyway because if I don't they become rough and continue to get dirty. Right now I use a car wash soap with some wax already in the soap. I guess that will be fine to continue using. I'll use some additional wax to help protect it also.

Sounds good. On a side note, be sure to wash microfiber with microfiber only. Don't mix any terry/cotton in the wash. When you dry, either hang them to dry or use tumble/low heat. And last but not least, no fabric softeners / dryer sheets or bleach.
