Default Paint Chip Advice

Hey everyone, I've been a genius lately and was using Mike's Autowash when I was in a pinch for time. I never checked my car for chips before going in, so when I came out and dried the car, I couldn't prove that the chips came from their wash cycle... I digress.

Anyway, I'm trying to repair the chips in my front bumper and leading edge of my hood. These chips are tiny, about the size of a pin-head, but some are deep. They go down to the metal and I can see the see the metal, and layers of paint. Does anyone have any suggestions for a product to use to fix these chips? I've seen Dr. Color chip advertised, but wasn't sure if that was legit or not. Frequently those products make it looks like there is a permanent smear in your paint. Should I just take this thing to the dealer to repair? Thanks in advance!

The Dr. Color Chip does work. Have used it on my Redfire GT and wife's Outback, on chips larger than what you describe. If the chip is deep you can give it a second application. Does a much better job than dabbing a blob of paint in the chip. Just make sure the chip and area around it is really, really clean with no wax.
