Default small air cleaner?

I need a air cleaner thats pretty small in size cause when I close my hood, I notice there isnt much room at all. I want one that will work with the scoop to get more air. I remember seeing a small triangle one with a mesh top but dont know where to get it?

Auto Zone is where I got mine, but I wouldn't recommend it. Get a K&N if at all possible.

This kind is an edelbrock on mine, but I will change out for a K&N when I can.

Use a drop base type for more hood clearance.
A cotton type will flow more air for a given size.

Matt, go to their site, they have filters that are shaped exactly like the whole set-up. The WHOLE thing is a filter, housing is shaped identical to the factory kit, but it's ALL filter! Did I say it was probably the best thing you will find that really works, and still toerate to look at it.

Be careful, I tried a drop base with a filter top and it must have messed up the flow into the carb real bad. It ran poorly under throttle but cleared up when I replaced the top with the regular one. The filter top probably needs to be at least 3 inches above the top of the carb...
