My 2006 4.6L GT with 5-speed automatic cannot get enough torque to the rear wheels to break the tires loose from a standstill, even with the traction control off. I hear that the computter delays a wide open throttle command for one second, and closes the throttle at upshifts when the pedal is to floor.

At tuner tells me that he can tune out the throttle delays. Is all of this fact or fiction?
