Post Question from a newbie regarding posting

I just spent a lot of research on line looking at three mods for my new 2014 Mustang, going to many different vendor sites. I discovered one site wherein when you buy an item, they give you points that equals $$$. I didn't find any other site that does that. So, I split my order up, and in doing so, I saved money on the second order. What are the rules about posting a comment about a vendor here at Mustang Forums? I'd like folks to know about this but don't want to violate any rules regarding talking about vendors since vendors support this site.

Thanks!

Thanks, I removed it. I never heard from anyone regarding my question. Oh well, I guess newbies are ignored. Thanks again for the heads up. TOO BAD this forum doesn't allow links to sites that can help members secure their computers. That is what I do for a living. It's just a blog, that's all, with computer security tips. Take care.

Well were kind of not a computer security site. But I did post the link to the forum rules for you.

I am a computer repair technician, but if I want to help people with technical computer problems I would visit a like minded forum. But , to me helping people for free to do something I get paid to do is kind of counter productive.

I work for a rather large company and one of my jobs is teaching employees computer security. Many asked me to post a blog so they can share basic security tips with their family and friends. I make the blogs into humorous stories about my neighbor.

Regarding this forum: I used to be on two other car forums and there was a section on the forum about "Other stuff of interest" and as it turned out, many folks like to know about computer security items as they were using their computers to access the forum...they were car people but didn't have a clue about computers, so it was helpful.

I get what this forum is about, and it's all good. This is a serious Mustang site, and nothing else. Got it.
