Default MAF question

I pulled the mass air off a totaled 2002 taurus. Does anyone know if there is a way I can put this on my 86 GT? If not, is it worth trying??

without know the sizes is one thing and youll need it calibrated to the injectors you have. IMHO not worth it to use that MAF

Dude youve got speed density...keep it...most people with performance motors switch over to a speed density setup

Someone told me that it would be good to get rid of it before doing anything else to my engine. Come to think of it that makes no sense at all. What would be the gain??? Why do they choose density over MAF? By the way, nice avatar[sm=smiley20.gif]

So can I modify my engine with the speed density setup. What gain is there from maf?

Speed density sucks unless you're keeping the car as is for a while.

MAF allows for mods to the motor since it is based off of the oxygen content the motor sucks up, not the RPM.
