Default New air filter wont fit!

Just bought a Amsoil EAA191 Air filter that i want to install in my MAC straight shot CAI, however it does not fit. The filter is fatter, shorter and the opening to put the adapter that connects to the maf does not fit....The Mac came with a MAC Cone filter and it only seems to fit that. What can i do to get the filter to fit.....i dont want to use cotton gauze mac anymore.....

Because I want to. Cotton gauze filters suck.
