Antenna Removal

Default Antenna Removal

There is a black plastic Base to the bottom of the antenna to my 04 V6 mustang and I was getting a rear windshield mount but i can not remove the black plastic with any tool i have do u have any suggestions

why are you converting?

i would go to ford and see if they have a conversion kit.......then buy it elsewere since ford will
charge you an arm and a leg

The black plastic piece is not supposed to come out. After you take it out (you'll probably have to break it to get it out), you'll have a hole there you'll need to fill. Is moving your antenna to the rear window that important? It's going to cost you more than you think to do the swap.

a LOT more. just filling the hole and painting it is going to run @300 bucks.
