Octane Booster
I know there is a big debate on this one so lets play nice pls.
Was wondering if anyone uses any kind of booster and seeing results? Not talking about some off the wall stuff but what you can get at Auto Zone or Pep boys type of auto store.
I know there are tons of sites that did some kind of testing in one form or another but everyone has diffrent results it seems.

Octane boosters will only increase the amount of octane points in your gas. Having a higher octane gas will not increas horsepower, increase fuel mileage nor make your engine run cleaner. You will only need to use octane boosters if you're engine is modified enough to increase the compression in the engine. For a stock engine, use the fuel grade specified in your manual.
The only thing that you will be increasing with octane boosters on your engine at the moment will be your expenses!

Most octane boosters will NOT increase octane in your gas. If it does, its so minor that it doesnt make a difference. Most boosters will raise you .2 points of octane in a full tank, where as you see the names saying "114" or whatever.
There is a product called Torco i believe that *does* work, but its just a bandaid.
Octane in most N/A or stock compression engines makes no difference. I run 93 octane only because i run 21psi of boost in my car, and even then, i get the occasional spark knock.
