114 octane is like $5.50 a gallon here so thats what i run....only drive to shows anyway, and it keeps the old valves lubed up.

 

does using that stp stuff in the red bottle for like better gas mileage really help at all as well?

 

there is a place in cloquet mn that has 107 (or was it 114) octane.....I don't know if it is leaded or what. This was about a little less then a year ago so I don't know if they still sell it since I haven't gone that way to the twin cities in a long time. But it was $3.99 a gallon out of a pump. Always did want to try it, but when I saw it gas was still only $1.45 a gallon and thought $3.99 was insane. Now it doesn't look that bad.
