Man, thats something rare for me to see, a V8 stang with high miles. Kinda because people save those for the weekends heh We are glad to be of service.

Mine gets upwards of 32mpg on a fresh oil change and air filter, which helps seeing that gas is $2.50something for 91. But into about 1000 miles of my oil change my mpg goes down a bit. My most common average is 25mpg. I change my oil every 3000 miles and always use B12 chemicals such as SeaFoam to clean the crankcase... Its nice seeing clear auburn oil come out instead of black gunk that smells like a septic tank! It also helps that I dont use AC at all even in the summer, guess im just too use to my NON AC mucles cars [8D]

Keep us updated on your MPG

Your one of the first peaple I've heard of using a crankcase cleaner. You obviously like it, but what does it gain you? I'm curious what others think as well....time for a poll?

I like it because it cleans any gunk that may have built up in there and gets everything down to bare metal so there is no gunk or film keeping maximum lubrication from occuring. With consistant use its like getting down to a fresh rebuild each time in the respects of being clean. Afterwords there isnt anything to clog oil passages so free flow is always assured. The oil doesnt get black as fast either and stays fluid and esay moving. This just helps to keep the engine running longer. And the other half of the bottle that you dont use then you just pour it into your gas tank to clean your fuel system

If its seafoam your using then the other half can go into your carburetor or throttle body to directly clean valves and combustion chambers. Its kinda like sandblasting it in the respects that it cleans it out nicely and if you have never done this before then you will feel a bit more pep. Always follow the instructions though
