Default gauge compliment

I have a naturally aspirated, non-nitrous injected 306. I currently have a water temp, oil pressure and A/F gauge to install and I have a couple of questions:

What does everyone else run gauge-wise on N/A engines? I'm thinking about an oil temp gauge, but eh, you know.

Also, where did you all splice in for power to your lights for the gauges? Thanks, boys and girls!

I run, fuel pressure, boost, temp, o/p, volts and a/f. I tapped the light for the hvac panel.

Pro, I was hoping you or Ang would chime in. Thanks. I'm beginning to thinks there are a buncha knuckelheads on this board that have never built anythang but like to post in tech and say "good idea" "sounds about right" or " ^^+1". You guys are the truth!

I figure I'll be making 325-350 HP since I have an E303 and edelbrock vic jr's, 1.6 rollers, port matched SVO intake, yada yada yada, so I'm wondering what information I'll actually need in the cockpit versus having a bunch of cool gauges for show.

Obviously, I won't need to monitor boost since I'm not forcibly inducted, and it seems to me that fuel pressure is not quite as critical to monitor on a N/A car vs boost or nitrous. I think if I were to add a gauge to the three I have now (o/p, H20 temp and A/F), it would probably be fuel pressure or oil temp. I trust my factory volt meter, so I won't be redundant there I think.

Any suggestions? I'm leaning towards being good with the three gauge setup I have now, but if someone were to chime in and say, "you DEFINITELY need a [insert gauge name here]" I'd consider it.

Pro, can you elaborate on that light hookup a little? I'm not quite reading you there.
