Default 17" Billitt Wheel ?

I have a 1988 mustang gt. I want to put the 17" billitt wheels on. I plan on buying the 4 to 5 lug 2inch adapter. I know its not the best but I dont drive hard just cruise around. My question with that setup how big of tires (wide) could I put in. I want to put 17X10.5 deep dish if I can. It has a 6.8 backspacing. What tire could I get to fit on the rim and go in the car without any mods? Thank you in advance

Do you mean Bullet wheel. Anyway, you won't get a 10.5 on the back of a fox w/o some major work and even then it will be sketchy.

Biggest 17" wheel and tire combo w/o mods is 17x9 6.0 b/s, w/ 275/40/17 tire.

yes your right its bullitt. So if I got the non deep dish that are 17X9 with a 5.95 they will fit my setup correct. Do you know this for sure or an educated guess? How far do you think they will hang out at least 2 inchs from the adapter any more do you think? Thnaks for your help

On a 5 lug they will fit perfectly cuz that's what I run. You don't wanna run spacers on that size. HJust won't look/fit right. Do it right and do the conversion. It will be worth it in the long run. Or stick w/ the 4 lug choices.

They sit in the fenderwells and don't rub. 275/40/17

How hard is the conversion. It just looks like new front rotors and new rear axels. How many hours do you think it would take to put it? You are right it would look kind of dumb hanging out 2 inchs extra. So thats what you have on yours, looks very nice.

Thanks,

The conversion depends on alotta things. Which type you go with, how much you wanna spend, where you get the parts. Here is are some links that might help you in your quest for the 5 lug wheel LOL!
