okay one time i heard if you turn on the ac but not max ac that the car would run alot better i thought it was bull but i tried it anyway and my car does seem like its running better with more horses or is it just me and all in my mind (probably) but owell

Actually i think you are losing horsepower because it takes horsepower to run the a/c. a friend of mine dynoed a engine swaped honda and by turning on his a/c he lost like 5 horse....

but im not talking about turning it on to max ac its just blowing air, the compressor isnt even on though....

if the compressor ain't on, then you aren't losing any HP to the AC, just a minor extra amount to the alternator to run the fan. it's probably "just my imagination playing tricks on me!" the Temptations!
