Default Little roll bar install problem

ok here's the deal I bought an '89 lx 4cy. little rust on body no big deal but when I got inside and starting riping out stuff I found a hole in the floor that looked like a rock hit it from driving in the woods. ok I can weld this back but when I went to hammer the floor flat to weld on the panel for the roll bar main hoop the floor started to fall apart right where it meets the back seat. how can I fix this quick and cheap? I'm not a body expert anything will help.

Well sounds like rust has gotten to the poor metal on that baby..... You can get sheets of metal to replace it, and you can buy new tubs for the car...... If its just a small area just cut it out and replace it with a another piece.... Check all the floor board though cause whenever theres rust its usually in more than one place....

Yup!

Get you some sheet metal and cut out the bad and weld in the new.

If you're not comfortable welding or don't know someone who is then I'd take it somewhere to have it done, you don't wanna go ghetto and rivit the panels in, hold your laughs, I know someone who did that one time on an old truck.

If your living in an area of the US with humidity and since your already doing work on the underneath part of the car you should think about doing maybe an epoxy or rhino or some sort of a sealant on the bottom itll keep from future rust destroying it again...

If you cant do this at home its not worth the time, money,or effort.

This is barely worth the time if you do it at home but especially not since you may have to pay someone.
