Sounds like a blockage. Both hoses should be close in temp. How many miles on the car. Could also be a blown head gasket. Can you see any flow in the radiator w/ the cap off?

Our rads tend to get sediment deposited on the lower rows and can cause blockage. Prestone makes a great radiator flush, I would run it a couple times to make sure. Also like Pro50SC said, you could have a blown head gasket. With that kind of car it would be very worth while to get a nice all aluminum (No plastic cap BS) pro type Radiator, not very expensive, probably pick one up for $400ish. You should also change the water pump to an electric water pump. It flows the same flow at all times instead of dropping off at higher rpms, it also saves power drag.

Check your electric fan too, to do this turn your AC on and see if the fan comes on, it should come on.

Good luck with that

I was wondering if i had a blown head gasket if i would see water in my oil or the car would have be leaking fluids. i was thinking about revese flushing the radiator and changing the water pump. If my battery went dead would my computer defaulted any info like my electrical timing being im running a superchargere the timing would be different?

Also if it was a blown head gasket wouldnt the car smoke or spit water out of the tail pipes. Could a dirty air filter cause it to run hot the way my car is running.By not getting the right air to fuel mixture.

thanx for the input..

air filter wouldnt make it overheat, and ive seen bad headgaskets without smoking and without leaking externally, they make a special tool that can check for exhaust gases thru your radiator i would check into that if you find that your fan is working, also could be your waterpump like the other guy said for a nice car like yours i would just do what neotokyo said and change over to the electric waterpump and aluminum radiator anyways

none of your radiator hose should be cool or soft, so you probably got a block somewhere. id flush it all out and check the upper/lower rad hose for blockage. a new radiator might be needed, if you want to just get it back on the road the oem replacements are only about 100$.
