I'll be replacing the front control arms and coil springs on my 90 LX next weekend. I don't have an inside coil spring compressor, friends hacve suggested using everything from chains to heavy duty zip ties to hold compression on the old springs when doing the removal. Can I do the job withput a spring compressor?
