Helping people out is helping to solve problems. This can be emotional support, backing their *** up in a fight, etc..
Being a bum is just being so ****ing lazy and penny pinching that you're looking to buy a car and won't spend $15 for a CarFax.

I cant disagree with that.
But hell 100th96cobra was offering carfax reports am i a bum because i had him run one?Because i did.As did a few others are they bums?
Its a form of help.Not everyone has the means to do it and some are just kind enough to do it.
I dont know about you but i sure as **** am not going to pay for something someone offers up as a friendly service.But thats me.
