Default Tokico Shocks....springs help...

Wazup guys, I'm about to order a new suspsension package for my car. It's a 97 stang. It's mainly a daily driver ofcourse. I want to go with the Tokico shocks and struts and I would go with the matching tokico springs but they dont seem to lower my car enough, they only lower it 1.25" all around and my gap is really big, anybody got any advice on some springs that would lower my ride more and operate well with the tokico shocks and struts, thanks guys.

I'd stick with the 1.25's. If you go to 2 or more you should get adjustable caster/camber plates so you can keep the right alignment of all the components of the suspension. If you don't like the gap you can always get bigger wheels, that'll add a nice look to your car too. If you do wanna go more get a good set, don't cheap out, and get the caster/camber plate set along with them. Also you have to decide if you want progressive or oh man, blanking on the name of the regular ones....solid rate? Anyways, progressives stiffen up the more you compress them so driving normal they will be a little smoother but when you take a sharp turn or something they'll stiffen right up.

Oh ok thanks for the advice man...I'll take some time and think before I order the stiff stuff. Oh by the way I noticed that you have flows and a x pipe, how do they sound? I heard H pipe sounds best with flows cause I have flows on my ride and was trying to figure if it would sound best w/ h or x pipe.

Well the H is a little more of a rumble. The X is more of a growl, it's hard to describe. I like how mine sounds now, it's just mean. Real clean sound though and it's got a little more kick with the X over the H.
