slow down some dude, you need to learn to drive first! the V-6 is more than enough power for a new teenage male driver with raging hormones! LOL
your parents are trying to make sure you make it to your 17th birthday for heavens sake give them a break.
check out the June issue of Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords magazine for some V-6 performance tips. I'm sure this will give you some ideas you can use.
and as Dr. Spock used to say, "Live long and prosper!"

If you know you wanna go for performance in the future stick with what you have and don't spend too much money on it cuase if you sell it you won't get half of it back. Hold onto that for a while then after high school or something look into getting something with a V8. There are ways to get the 6's running well, you just have to do it right. If you decide you wanna keep this for a long time and build it up I'd stroke it out and then once you've got some good componets look at a power adder. Either super or turbochargers. If you wanna go with an 8 you'll get a lot more for your money if you can find a nice fox (86-93 are the EFI's) then a newer one.
