Default Ball Joint

Hey, im replacing my ball joint in my 91 LX 2.3L because it like fell out and was impossible to steer and do anything in it.

I was wondering, do you have to replace the whole A arm or can you just do the ball joint?

I just had to change my front lower ball joint on my 83 stang, What a pain in my ***, Lucky I got it changed right away, After I removed it, I noticed a crack on shaft part where the threads are, Its was a close one.
